Celebrating 20 years of banked track roller derby in San Diego!
Founded in June of 2005 by skater Bonnie D.Stroir as the San Diego Derby Dolls, then San Diego Derby United, our Slam Diego Roller Derby continues the tradition of fostering an environment of inclusion while helping our skaters realize their full athletic potential.

We've lost our home facility and need help to store our track and find a permanent home. You may know us as the hard-hitting, brazen athletes you see on the track, but we're so much more than that. We train and promote underserved youth that don't fit into male-dominated, heteronormative sports. We also have a Bonfire program that trains and educates adults how to skate and play roller derby. Most women have never played a full contact sport and learn for the first time how empowering it can be.
